about the ride:
Join us for our second community bike ride as we celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Fire Horse.
This ride brings neighbors together through movement, connection, and shared purpose. We’ll ride together through Pasadena and Altadena, welcoming the new year while showing up for families rebuilding after wildfire.
This ride is made possible with support from local partners and the wider community.

This is not a race. It’s about riding together.

1. Do I need to register to join?
Yes! Sign up here.
2. How much does it cost?
Participation in the ride is free. Donations are optional, and riders are also welcome to form teams and fundraise together in support of Lotus Rising LA. Individuals and teams that raise $75 each riding member will receive a free keepsake.
3. What time should I arrive?
Exact time announced soon.
4. How long is the ride?
To be announced soon.
5. What should I bring?
Bring your bike, helmet, water bottle, and a good attitude.
Sunscreen and a snack are smart, too.
6. Can kids join?
Yes! Families and riders of all ages are welcome.
Kids under 16 should ride with an adult.
7. Can pets join?
Yes! As long as they’re safe and secured.
8. Are we eating after?
Yes! We’re grabbing a bite at Panda Express on Lincoln Ave before heading back to the meeting point at Around the Cycle.
It’s a casual, buy-your-own meal and a great way to hang out, refuel, and celebrate together. Panda will be donating 20% of the proceeds toward Lotus Rising LA.
9. Can I still support if I’m not riding?
Absolutely! You can donate, volunteer, or cheer riders on at Around the Cycle / Panda Express.
Everyone’s welcome to join for food and community. Meals are buy-your-own, and it’s a great way to connect and support the cause together.
10. What does fundraising support?
Funds raised go toward Lotus Rising LA’s wildfire recovery programs, helping families rebuild and restock their homes after disasters.
11. Will there be parking?
Yes! Free parking will be available at our meeting point, Around the Cycle.
12. Is this a race?
Nope! It’s a community ride and tour, not a competition.
13. I lost my bike in the fires. Can I still join?
Yes! If you lost your bike in the fires, you’re still welcome to join.
Register as a rider, select a bike rental if needed, or reach out if you need help.
