our mission

Lotus Rising LA helps families rebuild after wildfires through community-driven support, sustainable prefab housing, and practical tools for long-term recovery. We prioritize low- to middle-income families, elderly residents, and generational homeowners often left out of traditional aid, making sure they’re not forced to leave the places they’ve always called home.

Born from the 2025 LA wildfires, our model is rooted in local recovery and built to adapt. Whether after earthquakes or other disasters, our work strengthens housing stability through trust, dignity, and collective care.

a note from our founder

After the 2025 wildfires, hundreds of families across Los Angeles were left without homes and without a clear way forward. Many were underinsured. Some weren’t insured at all. Most faced with a rebuilding process that felt completely out of reach.

I started Lotus Rising LA because I couldn’t stand to see longtime residents pushed out of the only place they’ve ever called home. These aren’t strangers. They’re the people who built this city. They shouldn’t be forced to leave because the system wasn’t built for them…and they deserve better.

We believe rebuilding shouldn’t depend on luck or access. It should be possible because people care enough to make it so. That’s the kind of work we show up for, and the kind of community we’re here to build.

This isn’t about charity. It’s about taking responsibility for each other. It’s about choosing to care when it would be easier not to.

If you’re here, thank you. Whether you donate, share, or simply pay attention, you’re helping families stay rooted in the communities they’ve built. And that matters.
